Kanorado is the most western town in Kansas located among the rolling hills, one mile off Interstate 70 at mile marker one.

 

The town was founded in 1888, with a current population of 276.

 

Some of the sights include a Rock Island rail car, number 17776, parked outside the museum in Downtown Kanorado and a Senior Center, which also acts as the Community Center for such events as Bike-Across Kansas.
